Wednesday I went to a friend of mine who has her own company. She sells a Columbian beachwear and lingerie brand to other businesses. That was a really nice appointment and I will show some of the collection from a few months on.

This weekend I hope to have lunch with a friend somewhere outside the town I live in. The weather is rather bad so it's a small question mark.

As you might have noticed I use few self made pictures. I leave home and come home when it's dark. My experience is that the pictures don't look good if I make them without daylight.

I am planning to make some pictures for blogs this weekend so there will be more (visual) blog material coming soon!

Wow, this week went fast again. Yeah!

I have trained Kung Fu twice because in May  I'll have my Black belt exam. So I need to train a bit more now.

I am now addicted to the Iron on beads, I love it! And I read the blog book, it really has great tips and tricks I can use.  My intention is to blog more at ' Drive for style' , I do have 2 other beauty blogs but I consider this one as my main blog.  Drive for style is my (life) style blog.

Have you had a good weekend so far?

This week was  a busy one at work. To start the new year there were a New Years drinks.

Yesterday my boyfriend and I have visited some thrift stores. I love it.

At the moment I am addicted to Iron on beads. I didn't know what such great things you can do with the beads! I now only make easy things but I definitely would like to make more complex creations.

Next week  I would like to train Kung Fu twice and I am already looking forward to the weekend haha.

It's the first week of the normal life and I am already busy at work.

Tonight the first Kung fu training starts again also. I feel like having some exercise after Christmas and New Year's Eve ;-).

I hope you are well. Today I went to work but from tomorrow on I will have my holidays. Unfortunately we have a funeral tomorrow but the day after tomorrow it really starts, till Sunday haha. 

Monday the normal life starts again I am afraid! ;-)

This is My life #49

Dear all, 

I hope you all have had a nice week!
This week I had two events; Concert of metal band Life of Agony. It was quite good and not as hard metal as you might think. I really enjoyed the concert.

Yesterday night we celebrated "Sinterklaas". We celebrated with my family in law, and there were a lot of presents (especially for the kids in the family)!

I got some nice presents and a beautiful dress which I will post later.

Amsterdam light festival

Dear all,

Instead of a "This is my life" I would like to tell you about the Amsterdam light festival.

Yesterday night my boyfriend and I made a 'Water colors' cruise.

From 27th of November 2014 till 18th of January 2015 you can enjoy  the annual Amsterdam light festival. Different artists have made subjects of material that can light up or can be projected or even react on the activity of boats and cell phones.

I had bought our tickets on the website you will see below,  but you can buy a ticket on site as well.

The tour through the canals with the lights and the beautiful lighted creations was a lovely experience  .

It took about 1 hour and the boat was nicely warmed because outside it was pretty cold!

Below just a few of the pictures I made but there was many more to see.

Sorry! I forgot to post this one. Well I have worked all week and I haven't done anything special last week. 

I am addicted to Pinterest though! 

I love it and it arouses my creativity.

Ladies night -Geisha

Yesterday night I had a Ladies night in the Rijksmuseum Volkenkunde in Leiden.
The subject was "Geisha". At the moment there is a "Geisha' exhibition in the museum till 6th of April 2015.

I also attended a lecture about the Japanese tattoo art but I don't have pictures of that. It was a very interesting lecture though!

There were many things to do, but I have decided to do the things below.

• Let my hand scrubbed with Rituals products.

I started with a workshop 'Make your own stamp'. This is the result.

The funny thing is I read about Masaaki Oyamada some time ago in a magazine and I save the article.
Yesterday he was there to lead the workshop!
